A healthy family is at the heart of a healthy society

On May 15, 2007 the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic in direct cooperation with Azersun Holding held the Third All-republic Festival dedicated to the Family's Day. The Festival was envisaged for the attendance of 30 young families( including parents and children).

The main purposes behind organizing the festival were to increase the impact of the related events designed to raise the level of state support for young families, seen as one of the key strategy lines within the national youth policy, gather and guide public attention and efforts towards the resolution of social problems, build up on the role of upbringing in young families as well as to promote the youth-related events throughout 2007, the Year of Youth.

The Festival program has featured a quisine contest, IQ competitions, topical leisure and entertainment activities, photoexhibitions etc..
