Spreading Life Through Blood Donation

Blood is a vital part of our body, constituting a crucial element for our wellbeing and healthy life. For the purpose of helping those suffering with thalassemia Azersun Holding along with its enterprises in partnership with the Ministry of Health spearheaded a blood donation campaign. The campaign took place in the Community Hall, on May 8, 2007 and was designed to support those affected with this severe disease and make a contribution to the national blood bank.

Blood is seen as a keystone factor in people's wellbeing. It is a well known fact that those wounded during accidents and armed conflicts as well as carriers of thalassemia can only survive through donated blood of the same category. That's why the maintenance of a blood reserve is an ever recurring issue. For this purpose, almost every country in the world has its own blood bank allocated for these purposes.
