ABDULBARI GOOZEL MEETS PENNSYLVANIA UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS.

Mr. Refik Cholpan and Oyha Cholpan, professors of the US prominent Pennsylvania University, have arrived in Azerbaijan on a visit to Azersun Holding. Their counterparts from the Qavqaz (Caucasus) University of Baku, Mr. Ahmed Sanich, Principal and Mr. Tayyar Mustavfayev, Vice-Principal have also joined the meeting.  
Among the meeting participants were Mr. Kazim Babayev, Azersun Holding’s Public Relations and Social Services department, Ms. Shahnaz Aras, head of the company’s education division, Ms. Zulfiya Garayeva, Human Recourses Department official, Mr. Bahadur Mammadov, the unit executive and  Mr. Ikhtiyar Abdullayev, a leading expert, as well.    

At the start of the meeting, the visitors were informed of the activities, the company’s education division had realised over the period of 2008-2009. During the presentation, the detailed information regarding the education program, covering all of the Azersun Holding’ companies network, and the active participation of the company employees in such awareness campaigns was delivered to participants.

The guests from the Pennsylvania University, Mr. Refik Cholpan and Mr. Oyha Cholpan  have also met Mr. Abdulbari Goozel, Head of the Azersun Holding’s Board of Directors. Mr. Goozel has expressed satisfaction from the meeting, and further stressed great significance he attaches to education and science.

The Azersun Holding governor, as person constantly interested in developments achieved in the field of education, has expressed his positive attitude towards cooperation with the Pennsylvania University of US, and also mentioned of the plans for establishing relations between an international education institute, to be built in future within “Dream Island”  human settlement project  and advance educational establishments worldwide. Further on, during the meeting Mr. Goozel has also exchanged his views with Mr. Ahmed Sanich , Qafqaz  University Chancellor.

Prof. Rafik Cholpan graduated from the faculty of law of the Istanbul University in 1966.  Then, in 1970 he took his master’s degree from the Saint-Petersburg University of State and Municipality Governance.  Since 1987 Mr. Refik Cholpan has been at the head of the Department of Governance of the US Pennsylvania University. Prof. Oyha Cholpan is another high-ranking official of above renowned university of the USA.
