“AZERSUN HOLDING” HELD A MEETING WITH THE WAR VETERANS ON THE OCCASION OF MAY 9 VICTORY DAY

“Azersun Holding” distributed aid packages to the members of the Public Union of Participants of Leningrad Blockade.

These people who are the members of the Public Union are the living witnesses of the Blackade of Leningrad during 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War. Thus, the blockade of Leningrad (Sankt-Petersburg) by the German fascists made the soldiers fights for the city to leave in the blockage conditions along with the citizens.  Despite the cruel and unbearable hunger and hardships the citizens of Leningrad did not surrender their lovely city to the enemy and heroically defended Leningrad till the last day of blockage. After the end of the war some people that lived in the blockade came to our country and some of them got married here and chose Azerbaijan their permanent place of living.

These people are the heroes which were rewarded with number of medals and orders for the heroism they showed during the war years.
