“SHUSHA – CRYSTAL OF MY HEART”

17 years have passed from occupation of Shusha town – one of the most beautiful parts of Garabagh. The musical performance titled “Shusha – Crystal of My Heart”, dedicated to 17th aniversary of occupation of Shusha town and prepared by Shusha State Musical Drama was shown in the Culture Center of “Azersun Holding”.

First, the memory of all martirs was commemorised by one minute silence at the begining of the event.

Then, the Head of Public Relations and Soscial Service Department of “Azersun Holding Mr. Kazim Babayev made a speech. Mr. Babayev said that our occupied lands would be leberated soon and emphasized that the holding pays constant attention and provides support to the internally displaced persons.

The Head of Executive Authority of Shusha town Mr. Bayram Safarov also made a speech. In his speech he talked about the ancient historical culture of Shusha – one of the most beautiful places of Garabagh. He expressed hope that the occupied lands would sooner or later be liberated and that the memory of martirs died for the Motherland would remainprecious all the time.

Then the play called “Unnamed woman” written by Aygun Hasanova and prepared by Shusha State Musical Drama was shown. The director of the play was the Honoured Artist Logman Kerimov. The play is about the memories of a woman whose family was captured by Armenians and was subject to inconcievable tortures.

Witnessing the killing of her entire family seriously affected the woman’s mental health and she repeatedly remembers the tragic events and told the story to a journalist who interbiewed her.   The Honoured Artist Shukufa Musayeva and the actor Etibar Jafarov performed very well and their performance was quite memorable, and the mono-performance was given storm of applause by the spectators.
