AZERSUN HOLDING ORGANIZED COMMEMORATION EVENTS IN LINE WITH THE HODJALI TRAGEDY

Azersun Holding started the 17th anniversary of the Hodjali tragedy commemoration events from a literary composition at the Holding’s Center of Culture

Azersun Holding that constantly takes measures to ensure that the global community is made aware of the Hodjaly tragedy, like in the previous years, this year also commemorated the anniversary of the tragedy committed by the Armenian and Russian troops on February 25-26, 1992, with the participation of representatives of international organizations active in the country, members of the Parliament, education system and the foreign diplomatic corps.

Extraordinary and Authorized Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, who delivered a speech at the literary composition performed by the actors of the Shusha State Musical and Drama Theatre at the Center of Culture of Azersun Holding of February 25, noted that the Hodjaly tragedy is an unheard-of crime against humanity. Then, Mr. Kazim Babayev, Director of the Public Relations and Social Services Department of Azersun Holding, in his speech stated that every Azerbaijani is responsible for making sure that the global community is made aware of this tragedy. Kazim Babayev, who mentioned that Azersun Holding always supports measures aimed at increasing the global community’s awareness of the Hodjaly tragedy, stressed that the films that were presented at the International Film Festival for Hodjaly Anniversary carried out last year with the support of Azersun Holding are a good means for demonstration of the horrors of this tragedy to the global community.  

On the 26th of February, the personnel of the holding, with the President of Azersun, Abdolbari Goozal, visited the memorial “A mother’s cry” and put flower wreaths at its foot. Mr. Abdolbari Goozal, who spoke at the commemoration ceremony, asking peace for the Hodjali victims and for patience to our nations from Allah, stated that the blood of the Hodjali victims will not stay unavenged.
