THE FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HONOURED ARTIST, THE SHUSHA STATE MUSICAL DRAMA THEATER DIRECTOR YADIGAR MURADOV, WAS CELEBRATED IN AZERSUN HOLDING CULTURAL CENTRE

On December 15 the fiftieth anniversary of the honoured artist, the Shusha State Musical Drama Theater director Yadigar Muradov, was celebrated in Azersun Holding Cultural Centre.

This event was organized with the support of a group of companies. Famous cultural workers, several theaters and friends of Mr Muradov took part in this celebration. State Pantomime Theater, the Young Spectators Theater and the others congratulated the hero of the anniversary with their interesting performance.

Yadigar Muradov was born in 1958; in 1980 he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Art Institute as a drama theater and movie actor. The same year he started to work in the Agdam State Drama Theater. In 1990 he became a head of the Shusha State Musical Theater.

During these years Yadigar Muradov staged U. Hajibekov’s “Archin mal alan”, S. Askerov and Sh. Gurbanov’s “We know better”,S. Ganizadeh’s “Bear’s tricks” and A.Akhverdiev’s “Ruined nest”.

Y. Muradov has been rewarded with honourable titles and awards. He played the role of Oyunaga in “Let’s speak frankly” comedy, based on U. Hajibekov’s satirical articles, which was presented at the Festivals Festival organized in 2000 by the Azerbaijan Union of Theater Workers, and in 2002 together with his theater he received a “Golden Dervish” award. In 2000 Yadigar Muradov was conferred on the Honoured Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic title.
