“AZERSUN HOLDING” ONCE MORE CONTRIBUTED TO STRENGTHENING CULTURAL RELATIONS BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND GEORGIA

Performance of famous Georgian “Batumi” ensemble was sponsored by “Azersun Holding”

On November 25 “Batumi” Georgian vocal ensemble performed on the stage of Uzeir Hajibekov Baku Musical Academy. This event was organized by the Embassy of Republic of Georgia in Azerbaijan and under financial support of “Azersun Holding”. The ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of foreign countries, the government officials and the representatives of public were present at this concert.

The Ambassador of Georgia Nicoloz Natbiladze in his welcome speech stressed a high level of cultural and friendly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. He also expressed his deep gratitude to the management of “Azersun Holding” and Mr Abdolzari Goozal personally for support in organizing the concert which has become a good exmaple of strengthening these bonds.

The choirmeister and the presenter Nodar Vashanidze spoke on the professionalism of the vocalists. He said that the repertoire includes works of famous Georgian composers Jansug Kahidze, Revaz Galadze and Georgi Tsabadze.

The celebrated “Batumi” ensemble opened the concert with Azerbaijani and Georgian national anthems. The choir, consisted from 13 people, performed various compositions. Apart form the choir and solo songs the program included an Azerbaijani song “Beri gel”- “Come here”.
