FRATERNAL COUNTRY TURKEY CELEBRATES ITS 85TH ANNIVERSARY

The fraternal country Turkey celebrated its 85th jubilee in Gulustan Palace greatly on 29 October. A number of governmental representatives, non-governmental organizations, Turkish business people and representatives of some agencies were invited to the event.
The President of Azersun Holding, Mr. Abdolbari Goozal also attended the jubilee ceremony of Turkey.
On that day, the Extraordinary and Authorized Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, celebrating the 85th anniversary of its establishment, to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilich spoke of the importance of this day. Turkey was declared a Republic after the Great Ottoman Empire that was distinguished for its specific role in the history. At that time, in spite of war situation and difficulty of life in the country, the people won the valiant fight for their native land. The role of the soldiers sent by the Azerbaijan Republic to support the Army of the fraternal country in this fight for the native land is not deniable as well. Thus, the fight headed by Mustafa Kamal Ataturk ended successfully and Turkey was declared a Republic on 29 October 1923.
