AZERSUN HOLDING RECEIVES PROGRESS AWARD FOR 'MOST ACTIVE SERVICE' IN 2009

Azersun Holding became the winner of the “Progress Reward”, as it greatly contributed to the economic and trade relations between Russia and Azerbaijan in 2009. It has traditionally been already three years that the award ceremony of the “Progress Reward”, which is organized based on 2009 results by Azerbaijan-Russia Chamber of Business Cooperation in cooperation with Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan and Chamber of Commerce is held under the main sponsorship of Azersun Holding.
Several companies of the country were participating to this event. Azersun Holding also took place among the participating companies.
The holding, which was the main sponsor of the event, was awarded for its unprecedented contribution in improving economic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan in 2009.
During the award ceremony, the floor was first given to Vladimr Dorokhin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan. V. Dorokhin said he highly appreciates the cooperation between the Azerbaijani companies and the Russian companies and that this kind of cooperation bolsters the development of the economic relations between the two countries.
The award ceremony had started following the speech. Azersun Holding was announced to be the winner of the “Progress Award” for its active duty in the development of economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Russia. The Head of the Public Relations and Social Services Department Kazim Babayev received the award on behalf of Azersun Holding by Vladimir Dorokhin.
Providing food security of Azerbaijan, Azersun Holding also exports food products to different countries and contributes to the needs of other countries with high-quality food products through exports. One of the main directions of Holding’s exports is the Russian Federation. It has been already for ten years that Russia importers were benefiting from Azersun Holding products. Along with “Azerchay” and “Maryam chay”, canned food products are also widely consumed by Russians.
