“AZERSUN HOLDING” LAUNCHED A BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT CHILDREN SUFFERING OF THALASSEMIA

Azersun Holding launched a blood donation campaign with an intention to help those children, who suffer from Thalassemia on May 21. Nearly 500 employee of of all Azersun Holding companies took part in the charity event. Speaking during the event, Azersun Holding President Abdolbari Goozal, who was also participating at the event as well, stressed the importance of the campaign and highlighted how the campaign has turned out to be a tradition.

The President also said during his speech that it is not required to be extremely wealthy to involve in a charity activity. “Each good deed is considered a generous help. To help an elder cross a road through holding his/her hands is also considered to be a generous behavior; let a person want to do a favor,” Goozal said.

He also added that people involved in this campaign, which has already become a tradition, are increasing each year and this makes them feel happy. “This is a very important campaign for those, who need blood. Azersun Holding always supports and will continue to support these kinds of initiatives,” he noted.

During blood donation, a high-level medical service was offered to donors and donated blood was later transferred to Blood Donation Institute of Health Ministry. The same blood donation campaign is also supposed to take place in the regional offices of Azersun Holding.
