The 84th Republic Day celebrations.

On October 27, the 84th Republic Day of Turkey was commemorated at the Azersun Holdings Culture Centre in Baku. The occasion began with a minutes silence in honor of the Turkish soldiers who fell during the terrorism acts which took place in the south-east of Turkey, this included the Azerbaijani victims as well. This was followed by those attending, singing the Republic’s National Anthem and the Independence March of the Republic of Turkey.

Huseyn Avni Qarsliogly, the Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan, who attended the celebrations, spoke of Azersun Holding’s outstanding role in strengthening Azerbaijan and Turkish relations and mutual development which demonstrated a true brotherhood between the two nations.

Abdolbari Goozal, Azersun Holdings President expressed how delighted he was to be the host of such a special occasion and mentioned the significance of the historical play Turk Sancagi, staged by the Baku Municipality Theatre and which they had all seen performed that day.

A Certificate of Gratitude was presented to Amaliya Panahova, the head of the Baku Municipality Theatre, State awards laureate and National Artist of the Republic, on the behalf of Azersun Holdings Group of Companies.
