AZERSUN HOLDING LAUNCHES “BURA VƏTƏNDIR” (“THIS IS HOMELAND”) CAMPAIGN

With its distinct sensible attitude to the national values and social life principles, Azersun Holding has embarked on another campaign of high value. In the frame of joint initiatives with Azersun Holding the Shusha National Theater of Music Drama of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Azerbaijan Republic and the Azerbaijanis community of the Mountainous Qarabag province have organized a social event called “Bura Vətəndir” (“This is homeland”) campaign.

The event, aimed at creating and further proliferation of knowledge among the youth, based on true information, about cultural values and historic past of the occupied Qarabag province of Azerbaijan, has been organized in the context of commemoration of lost Qarabag lands where speakers mentioned to young audience of the feeling of national dignity we all cherish in our hearts.

It is envisaged under the program of the campaign that the Shusha National Theatre of Music Drama will tour to one higher school every six months, stage plays in the genre of our national and spiritual values, and that initiatives will be realized, as well, aimed to cultivate the feeling of patriotism in people. Azersun Holding takes pride in participating at such event where the company’s young representatives were among the most active attendees.  

Starting the event the White boat play by Enure Abdullayeva was staged at the Azersun Holding’s Center of Culture. Along with Qavqaz (Caucasus) university students among the participants of the event were the holding’s officials, community chairmen and their members.

Mr. Rahmi Yashar, Azersun Holding’s coordinator, Mr.  Mehdi Abdullayev, chairman of the coordination board of Azerbaijanis community of the Mountainous Qarabag province, Mr. Shamil Sabiroglu, chairman of the “Recognition of Khodjali Genocide” public association have delivered speeches at the gathering.  

In his speech, Mr Rahmi Yashar mentioned of his support to the campaign and bestowed his commendations on any initiatives taken in the context of the event. Following the ceremony held at Azersun, the public event then proceeded in to its main realization phase. 

Further on, the “Şuşa dağlarını duman bürüdü” (“Rising mist wrap Shusha mountains”) spectacle was performed at the Slavic University of Baku, as continuation of the program of events.

Satisfaction has been expressed from Azersun Holding for participation in such events, which are of social significance as way of manifestation of the values of our spiritual life, and then hopes been voiced that  the company will continue, and with pride, taking active part in the social life of Azerbaijan.
