AZERSUN HOLDING’S HUMANITARIAN ACTS IN THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN

One of the humanitarian acts by Azersun Holding was a delicious daily iftar (the breaking of the Ramadan fast) organized for the employees in the holding’s canteen starting from the first day of the Ramadan. Respecting beliefs of those who  come closer to God by praying during Ramadan, the sultan of the eleven months, Holding was generous with attention to its employees.  

Azersun Holding has always attended to not only its employees, but also to people who need special care. Thus, taking into account that iftar table is usually laid with delicious food, group of companies gladdened families in need with products manufactured by the Holding’s companies.

The group of companies also helped lonely war veterans, handicaps and families of martyrs who were under the guardianship of various government and non-government organizations.

Humanitarian unit of the Department of Public Relations and Social Services provided food aid to 680 people; among them 71 individuals and 51 non-governmenttal organizations.

In addition, iftar for 1,000 people with participation of Nizami District Council for Disabled Persons, Khatai District Branch of the Public Union of Disabled Karabakh War Veterans and Martyr Families, Public Union of the Disabled Persons’ Society, special school #11, Psychiatric hospital #1, boarding school#13 and Down Sydrome Association.
